Jaydin't 1st Easter

Happy Friday! I am so glad the weekend is here even though I will not get any scrapping time this weekend. For of those who followed my blog for a while will remember last year my husband got his first table at the Baltimore Comic Con to sell his drawings. Well this weekend we are doing it again and one of his biggest idols is going to be a guest Stan Lee.

I am hoping that I will be able to show pictures this weekend especially from the costume contest they do and it amazes me the time the people take to create their costumes and then there are the ones who threw the costume together in about 5 minutes and you can absolutely tell who those people are LOL.

Today I am bringing you a super cute layout I did of my little cousin Jaydin that I took at her first Easter this year. Since her dress was pink and I didn't have any pick flowers that exactly matched the soft pink of her dress I took some while flowers and sprayed them with Tattered Angels Pink Bubblegum and put stickles around the die cut.

I used the Swirlydoos April  kit “Bella Volo”

40 Years of Marriage

Happy Sunday!
I hope everyone is having a great Sunday so far. I am doing the usual weekend duties of washing clothes and cleaning. I will also be doing some scrapping in between.

Today I am bringing you a layout I did of my In-laws that I took on their 40th wedding anniversary. We took them out to dinner at a nice restaurant and then outside we took this picture of them. I couldn't ask for better in-laws and love them to death. Again I did that pesky fussy cutting again on the butterfly and glued a trinket as the butterfly's body.

I used the Swirlydoo's April "Bella Volo" kit for this layout

Happy 1st Birthday Jaydin!

Happy Wednesday! We are half way thru the week YEA!!!!

Today I bring you a special layout of my sweet little cousin Jaydin who today is celebrating her 1st birthday.

This is a picture I had taken at our family reunion in July. It was Jaydin's first trip to our family homestead and as you can tell by the picture she was just excited to be there.

I used the Swirlydoos April "Bella Volo" kit for this layout. I fussy cut out the butterflies that are at the bottom of the page and as much as I admire it when other people do it I am NOT a big fan of it but it just so fit on the page I had to do it LOL!!!

Those Eyes

Good Morning!
Today it is supposed to be 100 degrees outside so I will not be leaving the house today and to my great surprise they have scrapbooking shows on HSN.com. One of the new things that look interesting is the new Martha Stewart stamp around the page set but I have yet to master punch around the page so I will not be ordering maybe wait til it's available in the stores apparently in September.

Today I bring you a cute little layout I did of my niece. I love this picture of her and it was by fluke that I got this close-up of her.

I used the April Swirlydoos kit on this layout and the Martha Stewart double loops corner punch to create the edges on each corner.

Hope you have a great day!

Copic Coloring Pages

I hope everyone’s Sunday is going well. Mine was going good until my husband walked out of the house this morning to find the back window of our card smashed. But to offset that bad Karma we are taking my in-laws out to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary.

Today I am here to show you the first book I made with my bind it all. I hate to admit I have had this machine for two years and I just pulled it out when I got this idea to make my own book to practice my copic coloring in on my upcoming trip to Philadelphia.

I spent a whole day watching videos on how to use and I kind of forgot, cutting my pages, stamping, and printing out my digital images. This was the best day I had in a while cause I was just ignoring everything else and doing scrapbooking stuff. I hope to get more of these days soon.

It was a lot of work but I so LOVE how the book turned out. For my cover I used the Bo Bunny Gabrielle collection from my April Swirlydoo’s kit “Belle Volo”.

Well it's starting to rain here and we are supposed to have rain on and off for the next few days.

Happy New Year!!

Hello All,
I can't believe we are already in 2011! I hope this year dosen't go by as fast as last year did.

I hope that everyone had a great Christmas and enjoyed quality time with loved ones may they be family or friends or both. I had a wonderful Christmas and got many new toys to play with. My husband did very good this year with a new point and shoot camera, an external flash for my digital SLR camera, a light tent for my layouts and my barbie doll!

How did you spend your New Year's Eve? My husband and I went over to my sister-in-law's and watched some movies and food!

Below are my final projects for 2010.

The first is a layout of my aunt standing by the Christmas tree on Thanksgiving day at her daughter's house. We usually have to snap pictures of my aunt while she is not aware we are doing it but this year she wanted holiday pictures so I had my little cousin take the pictures with my camera while I was enjoying dessert LOL!!!

I used my December Swirlydoo's kit "Divine Noel" to create these projects:
My next project is a card I don't make my own cards to send out each year but since I was using christmas paper I decided to whip up this cute little card. Maybe next Christmas I will not be so lazy and make my own but I doubt it and my job never permits at this time of year.
