Jaydin't 1st Easter

Happy Friday! I am so glad the weekend is here even though I will not get any scrapping time this weekend. For of those who followed my blog for a while will remember last year my husband got his first table at the Baltimore Comic Con to sell his drawings. Well this weekend we are doing it again and one of his biggest idols is going to be a guest Stan Lee.

I am hoping that I will be able to show pictures this weekend especially from the costume contest they do and it amazes me the time the people take to create their costumes and then there are the ones who threw the costume together in about 5 minutes and you can absolutely tell who those people are LOL.

Today I am bringing you a super cute layout I did of my little cousin Jaydin that I took at her first Easter this year. Since her dress was pink and I didn't have any pick flowers that exactly matched the soft pink of her dress I took some while flowers and sprayed them with Tattered Angels Pink Bubblegum and put stickles around the die cut.

I used the Swirlydoos April  kit “Bella Volo”

Those Eyes

Good Morning!
Today it is supposed to be 100 degrees outside so I will not be leaving the house today and to my great surprise they have scrapbooking shows on HSN.com. One of the new things that look interesting is the new Martha Stewart stamp around the page set but I have yet to master punch around the page so I will not be ordering maybe wait til it's available in the stores apparently in September.

Today I bring you a cute little layout I did of my niece. I love this picture of her and it was by fluke that I got this close-up of her.

I used the April Swirlydoos kit on this layout and the Martha Stewart double loops corner punch to create the edges on each corner.

Hope you have a great day!

Motherhood Journey

Well it's Monday again! I am sad to see the weekend come to an end and another long work week arrive.

This layout is of my cousin Traon on the day we took her to register for her baby gifts at Buy Buy Baby. This was such a long but fun day we even had to take a lunch break from registering for baby gifts. There is so much to pick out and consider for a baby maybe that is why I don't have kids LOL!!!. I kind of like being the aunt that can return them after watching them for a while and buy them all the annoying loud gifts and then send them home to their parents

I used my Swirlydoos "Mon Amour" kit to create this layout.

My Mind's Eye- Union Square "Home Sweet Home" Paper

Happy New Year!!

Hello All,
I can't believe we are already in 2011! I hope this year dosen't go by as fast as last year did.

I hope that everyone had a great Christmas and enjoyed quality time with loved ones may they be family or friends or both. I had a wonderful Christmas and got many new toys to play with. My husband did very good this year with a new point and shoot camera, an external flash for my digital SLR camera, a light tent for my layouts and my barbie doll!

How did you spend your New Year's Eve? My husband and I went over to my sister-in-law's and watched some movies and food!

Below are my final projects for 2010.

The first is a layout of my aunt standing by the Christmas tree on Thanksgiving day at her daughter's house. We usually have to snap pictures of my aunt while she is not aware we are doing it but this year she wanted holiday pictures so I had my little cousin take the pictures with my camera while I was enjoying dessert LOL!!!

I used my December Swirlydoo's kit "Divine Noel" to create these projects:
My next project is a card I don't make my own cards to send out each year but since I was using christmas paper I decided to whip up this cute little card. Maybe next Christmas I will not be so lazy and make my own but I doubt it and my job never permits at this time of year.
